Leather. Naturally Tanned Leather.
Our leather comes from the tanned rawhides of cows, goats and sheep – and is sourced as a by-product of the meat industry. The leather is naturally tanned to achieve the perfect balance of suppleness and strength. Due to its softness, leather is sensitive to damage.
For products with a reptile effect, we use cow leather that is embossed and printed to mimic exotic skins, offering a luxurious aesthetic and unique texture. This technique allows us to achieve a refined, high-end finish without using endangered species.
Chrome Free.
Chrome-free refers to the absence of chromium in the tanning process of leather. Traditionally, chromium salts are used in leather tanning to stabilise the material and make it more durable. However, chrome tanning causes negative environmental impacts, such as the pollution of water sources with its toxic chemicals.
We're committed to exploring chrome-free alternatives in our production process, aligning with our goal of minimising environmental impact and prioritising sustainability.
Removable Insole and Instant Memory Foam.
In our commitment to comfort and versatility, many of our shoe lasts are crafted with removable insoles. This thoughtful feature allows for effortless customisation with orthopaedic insoles, while ensuring superior comfort through our instant foam memory insole made from EVA.
EVA is renowned for its lightweight, flexible nature and delivers exceptional cushioning with every step—offering a walking experience that’s both supportive and effortless.
Rubber Soles.
Our shoes feature high-quality rubber soles, engineered to deliver exceptional traction across a variety of surfaces—including wet conditions—for confident, slip-resistant wear.
To ensure every pair meets our exacting standards, each sole undergoes rigorous performance testing, including SATRA-certified assessments. SATRA is a industry worldwide recognised testing centre. This independent testing guarantees optimal reliability and safety.
Accessories and Metal details.
From elegant embellishments to functional hardware, metal details lend both character and sophistication to our designs. We thoughtfully incorporate metal components across many of our products, and each piece is carefully vetted to ensure exceptional quality and lasting durability. This commitment guarantees that every metal accent not only enhances the aesthetic but also stands the test of time.
Packaging.
Our shoeboxes are made from 100% recycled, FSC-certified paper and printed with water-based, vegetable-derived inks. Sustainability is integral to every stage of our production process, extending all the way to our packaging. This eco-friendly approach minimises our environmental footprint while ensuring your shoes arrive in responsibly sourced, fully recyclable packaging.
