Extending the lifespan of leather items involves essential steps such as cleaning, protecting, and regular maintenance. Before proceeding with the following guidelines, it is crucial to ensure that your items are thoroughly dry both inside and outside.
Rock and Naplak leathers are coated with a thin varnish, creating a glossy finish and enhancing durability. This coating gives the leather its distinctive shiny effect.
Step 1: Gently Clean the Surface Use a damp, soft cloth to delicately wipe away dirt, dust, and debris from your leather item. Move gently along seams and soles to avoid scratching the coated surface.
Step 2: Apply Patent Leather Cream Evenly apply a patent leather cream to the entire surface. Before full application, always perform a patch test on a small, discreet area to ensure the cream is compatible with the specific leather finish.
Step 3: Let Dry and Buff Allow the cream to dry completely. Once dry, gently buff the surface with a clean, soft cloth to restore shine and maintain the protective coating.
