Delice and glove leather care

Extending the lifespan of leather items involves essential steps such as cleaning, protecting, and regular maintenance. Before proceeding with the following guidelines, it is crucial to ensure that your items are thoroughly dry both inside and outside.

Step 1: Gently Remove Surface Dirt Use a soft-bristled brush or cloth to carefully sweep away dirt, dust, and debris from your leather shoes. Pay special attention to seams and soles. For stubborn spots, lightly wipe the area with a damp cloth, taking care not to saturate the leather.

Step 2: Condition the Leather Apply a neutral shoe cream or coloured shoe cream using a clean cloth. Work the cream into the leather with gentle, circular motions to achieve even coverage and nourish the material.

Step 3: Let Dry & Buff Allow the conditioner to dry completely. Once dry, gently brush off any residue to reveal a soft, polished finish.

Tip: Always choose a leather conditioner that matches the color of your shoes. If it is a new conditioner test it on a small corner before applying to the entire area. If you’re unsure which shade to use, please contact us for personalised advice.
