    What does craftsmanship mean to Regarde Le Ciel, and how do you ensure every pair of shoes meets your high standards?

    Craftsmanship is the DNA of our company. It’s all in the details - premium materials, impeccable quality, and, most importantly, a seamless and responsible supply chain. We work closely with every partner, from material sourcing to final production, ensuring fair practices, sustainability, and consistent improvement. This collaboration guarantees that every pair of shoes not only meets our standards but also reflects our values.

    Could you describe the process of developing a new shoe design from concept to final product?

    It starts with a sketch—a creative idea brought to life. From there, we move to designing over a last, the foundation of the shoe’s shape. Next, it transitions into 3D modeling and 2D development, where details are fine-tuned. Prototypes are made, tested, adjusted, and perfected through multiple trials before finally moving into production. Along the way, more than 30 skilled individuals contribute their expertise—from designers and pattern makers to technicians and material specialists—ensuring every detail is just right. It’s a meticulous process that balances creativity, precision, and functionality.

    What elements of craftsmanship are most important to Regarde Le Ciel, and how are they reflected in the final product?

    For us, it’s all about the leather, attention to even the smallest details, fit, and the overall experience. From the first stitch to the final polish, we ensure that each pair reflects comfort, durability, and timeless style—exactly what we’d expect as customers ourselves.

    MATERIALS & SUSTAINABILITY

    What kind of leather and other materials does Regarde Le Ciel use, and why have these materials been selected?

    We use only premium leathers, primarily sheep and cowhide, chosen for their exceptional quality and softness. These materials ensure our shoes not only look refined but also feel incredibly comfortable from the first wear.

    What are some of the sustainable practices Regarde Le Ciel integrates into its production process?

    We focus on sustainability at every stage, starting with responsibly sourced raw materials like leather, outsoles, and fabrics. Our processes leverage advanced technology to minimize waste and improve efficiency. Additionally, our smart factory combines workforce optimization with automation to reduce energy consumption and enhance productivity. We aim at creating beautiful shoes with a lighter environmental footprint.

    What’s Regarde Le Ciel’s vision for the future of sustainable footwear, and how is the brand planning to grow in this direction?

    PRODUCTION PROCESSES

    What are some unique or innovative techniques used in Regarde Le Ciel’s production process?

    One standout technique is how we finish each pair. We apply natural shoe cream and hand-iron every shoe individually, creating a unique transparency and depth in the leather. This meticulous process ensures each pair has a distinct, polished look that stands out for its craftsmanship and elegance.

    How does the brand ensure that each product not only looks stylish but also delivers on comfort and durability?

    We invest a lot of time perfecting the last, the foundation for the shoe's fit. Our extensive library of historically fitting models helps us ensure each shoe delivers the best possible fit. We also use soft, lightweight materials, combined with lining construction and flexible insoles, to maximize comfort. This attention to both design and functionality ensures our shoes are not only stylish but also durable and a pleasure to wear.
